   Fish for the powerful King. King Salmon typically run from 20-60 pounds, but a trophy fish of 60-100 pounds isn't out of the question. Remember, you are only a bite away from a world record!

Silver Salmon (Coho) August-September

   Silvers are the most aggressive biters of all the salmon and are real fighters. They run from 8-20 pounds and when they become airborne, you know you have a real fight on your hands! Pink Salmon run at the same time as the Silvers, in even years, and weigh from 3,-6 pounds.

Rainbow Trout June 15-Mid October

   Kenai Rainbows are some of the biggest and most beautiful in the world. This fishery takes place in the magnificent upper stretches of the Kenai River from a drift boat. Rainbows of 3-10 pounds are common, but they can weigh as much as 20 pounds.

Red Salmon (Sockeye) July

   After a morning of guided King fishing you can return and fish from the bank for the feisty Sockeye. This salmon runs from 7-12 pounds and is considered by many to be the finest eating.

   While fishing on the Kenai River, you will be guided by an experienced guide and year-round Alaskan, who is Coast Guard licensed and insured. All the necessary fishing gear and bait is supplied with your guided fishing trip. If you plan to do some fishing on your own, bring along your favorite gear or ask us, we'll be happy to help you choose the proper gear. Be sure to bring plenty of warm clothes, raingear and gloves!
